What Is Going On ?

I'd attend a talk about 'Free Litter Bug Campaign' by Kota Kinabalu City Hall ( DBKK ) on Friday . Mr.Chua , DBKK-man gave an interesting talk about this campaign. He caught our attention by showing some photos of garbage ( yeah...a lot of garbage that we make everyday ). He said , don't blame the garbage because we are the one who make it! . How we handle and manage our garbage it is our responsibility.

Me myself are practising to NOT throw my rubbish everywhere i like. As if i'm in a car , i'll not throwing it out the window , i put in a plastic bag , and will throw it away to an appropriate place when i reach home or office... DUSTBIN ...

Why am i writing about this ? Because i love the idea of clean city. Why are people always throwing their rubbish away , anywhere... And the funny part is , they will say 'rubbish' thing when the drain can't work properly because it's full with rubbish and when it's raining the city or their housing area get smack by flood. nah ...

On the Saturday evening , i'd a chance to go to the Teluk Likas Public Garden ( Taman Awam Teluk Likas ) , the facilities there is beautiful although not perfect , the view is ok... but will be much and much more fascinating if there is no garbage on the beach! What the shuuuTte!

It's all come from the sea , and carried by a current to the beach. Plastic bag is everywhere... And my suggestion is , if you want to do a window shopping you can come here ( or any beaches ) to pick ( yup , just pick , you don't have to buy!) whatever you like .. you can have whatever you like... yeah.. ( ops ...sounds like T.I song )...

Enough is enough ! we should start a campaign for not throwing our rubbish to the sea...

What to do ? no other place ...
