1. Sailors of 7th Fleet Command Ship USS Blue Ridge pulled onto Kota Kinabalu while underway for a scheduled spring deployment.
2. USS Blue Ridge is commanded by Capt. Rudy Lupton and serves under Commander, Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) 7 / Task Force (CTF 76), the Navy's only forward deployed amphibious force.
3. "Freedom of Entry to the City" event will be held on 18th April 2010 at Kota Kinabalu. There will be a participation of navies from Brunei, Indonesia, India and United States.
