Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (TMNT) , wah… the action , the fight , pizza.. it’s cool dude. They live a life in a sewer with their ninjutsu master , Splinter – also a mutated animal. We love and like them so much. By the way , the other turtles all over the world is now live a life that is on the edge of extinction due to several reasons. Main reasons is caused by us… HUMAN.
1-Loss of nesting habitat - rapid coastline development has reduced much of the suitable turtle nesting area.
2-Over exploitation of eggs - over before life begins
I’d read a campaign by WWF that I think I should share and help spread the words. On my sidebar , there is a promo about Saving Turtles and donations to help them. For Malaysian out there , please and c’mon guys… help them…
"The Leatherback turtle population has dramatically declined – by more than a staggering 99% over the past 20 years. More than 3,000 nestings were recorded in the 1970s, but only 9 nests were found in 1999. Other species have declined by more than 60% since they were first recorded to nest decades ago" - WWF
